Gothenburg is the host city for Europe’s Tourist Information Centres
The conference CityDNA 9th TIC Expert Meeting is held on November 24–25, 2022 at The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. The conference is organised every year for Tourist Information Centres and their staffs. For the first time it is organised in the Nordic region.
Gothenburg Tourist Information Centre, Gothenburg & Co, is a member of City Destinations Alliance (CityDNA), which is the knowledge sharing network for cities and urban regions in Europe. The conference is arranged and carried out in collaboration with Besöksservice, Göteborg & Co. Over 70 delegates from 23 different countries are participating in a packed programme with the theme of “sustainability”. The days are filled with lectures, discussions, workshops, activities and excursions.
There is great interest in meeting European colleagues among the participants. The challenges and experiences are often similar and the opportunity to meet each other gives a boost and is a great source of inspiration and new thinking!
Next year’s conference will be in Bologna 2023!
