EU collaboration for a more inclusive destination

On 1 October 2024, the EU project “European Citiverses Uniting for Inclusiveness (CU)” was launched. Over a period of thirty months, Göteborg & Co, together with 12 partners from five countries, will explore how technological tools can make a city’s offering accessible in new ways. The aim is to make the city more accessible, while also positioning Gothenburg as an innovative, creative and more inclusive destination.

Visualisation of the 400th years anniversary festival in Omniverse

In March 2024, Göteborg & Co participated in the global tech event NVIDIA GTC to present how we planned Gothenburg’s 400th years anniversary festival using the City of Gothenburg’s digital twin and NVIDIA Omniverse.

Goteverse 

In connection with Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary, a website was launched to build communities around digital opportunities and bring together digital experiences on an inspiring platform.

The vision for goteverse.com is to give creators new opportunities to reach a wider audience, as well as to serve as a place for inspiration and exploration of new business opportunities and career paths linked to digitalisation and visualisation.

What this initiative may evolve into remains to be seen, but in the meantime, goteverse will be an ideal hub for co-creation and shared exploration.

Gothenburg Arena in Fortnite 

As one of the experiences on Goteverse, Gothenburg Arena was created in Fortnite in collaboration with ZOAN. The arena offers a new way for players around the world to discover a part of Gothenburg through the world of gaming.
