The Trade and Industry Group is a platform for collaboration with more than 20 member companies from industry, academia and the public sector, and is working to strengthen Gothenburg’s competitiveness and attractiveness. By developing and creating structures for cooperation, supporting projects and promoting Gothenburg, the group aims to make a real difference for people and businesses in the Gothenburg region.

A key value in the Trade and Industry Group’s work is the interaction between private industry, the public sector and academia. This provides strength through the exchange and development of knowledge from the majority of sectors. The Trade and Industry Group also provides a valuable network. The group meets every other month to discuss initiatives and to learn about new places in the city and meet interesting people who both develop the group’s work and bring added value to the members’ professional roles.
