Personal data for the authorisation of Gothenburg guides in different languages

Göteborg & Co processes personal data to authorise Gothenburg guides in different languages.

Why do we process personal data?

We process personal data to administer the authorisation and to issue authorisation certificates. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the agreement entered into in connection with enrolment in the guide training programme (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How we use personal data

We receive your name, email address, home address and telephone number from Folkuniversitetet, which delivers the majority of the training. We use this information to inform you about the authorisation process, invite you to the authorisation session, and prepare your authorisation certificate once you have been authorised.

We store your information and your certificate on our local servers. Once you have completed the authorisation, we retain your personal data for archival purposes and only use it if you contact us to update your certificate with additional languages. If, for any reason, you do not complete the guide training or the authorisation, your personal data will be deleted.
