Göteborg & Co processes personal data in connection with subscriptions to our newsletters.

Göteborg & Co has six newsletters:

  • Monthly Communication Material (Swedish only)
  • Tourism Industry Status Update (Swedish only)
  • Meetings Newsletter (Swedish and English for some articles)
  • Science Festival Newsletter (Swedish only)
  • Trade and Industry Group Newsletter (Swedish and English for some articles)

Why are personal data processed?

The data we process is an email address.

We process personal data in order to administer the subscription and send out the newsletter. The legal basis for the processing is the performance of the agreement entered into in connection with the subscription registration (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How we use personal data

We use the email address to send out newsletters for as long as you are a subscriber. You can cancel your subscription by clicking the link provided in the newsletter or by contacting us using the details below. When you end your subscription, we retain your email address for archival purposes.

The system we use

To administer our newsletters, we use an IT system called eMarketeer. The system is provided by eMarketeer AB, which processes personal data on our behalf as a data processor. eMarketeer, in turn, uses several subcontractors.
