Personal data for Göteborgskalaset

Göteborgskalaset is tasked with offering Gothenburg residents and visitors an annual festival that contributes to an attractive destination and a more humane, enjoyable and sustainable city. Göteborgskalaset is organised by the municipal company Göteborg & Co.

In order to carry out this assignment, we maintain a register in which we record the names and email addresses of everyone involved in any way in the work related to Göteborgskalaset.

What are your data used for?

The purpose of the processing is to lead and coordinate the work on Göteborgskalaset by planning and organising its delivery. The data are used for communication regarding programme items, scheduling, information mailings, and invitations to meetings and gatherings related to Göteborgskalaset.

What is the legal basis?

The legal basis for the processing is legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The company has a legitimate interest in carrying out the processing, as it is necessary for the efficient planning and organisation of Göteborgskalaset. The assignment originates from the City Council of the City of Gothenburg.

Who are your data shared with?

Your personal data are shared with all those involved in planning and organising the delivery of Göteborgskalaset.

Which systems do we use for the processing?

The register is held in the FileMaker system, a solution developed by the company with support from the data processor Square Moon AB.

We use your personal data for as long as necessary to plan and organise the delivery of Göteborgskalaset and then archive them in accordance with Swedish archival legislation.
