The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre hosted the Junior Achievement Fair February 27h, where over 350 JA companies exhibited their goods and services for both exposure and sales. Visitors kept on steadily coming to partake in the bubbly atmosphere and to hunt for potential purchases. At the fair, around 100 jury members from the business industry and public sector had the mission to choose winners in eight categories. Six awards had already been handed out, such as Marketing of the Year, Business plan of the Year and Most ecologically sustainable of the Year.
After a full day of the fair, it was time for the awards ceremony. The Trade and Industry Group is the host for the most prestigious prize – JA Company of the Year, and jury chairman and project leader of Trade and Industry Group, Christian Westerberg, entered the stage to present the winner. Cheers erupted when MediScribe UF was crowned as Gothenburg’s best JA Company, and the win also means that they will represent the Gothenburg region at the JA Swedish Championship in Stockholm May 26-27th. MediScribe has developed a solution for voice-based documentation within elderly care and uses the help of AI to raise the quality of care. They are passionate about social entrepreneurship and hope to go far in the national competition. To be awarded the prize was not something they had expected, but it instead became a very positive surprise:
– We have no words! It is with great pride and joy that we accept this award, says Kenny Dos Santos and Simon Suslich.

The company has created an innovative solution where they have combined voice-based documentation within elderly care with AI to enhance the skills of staff and improve the quality of care. A well-written and put-together report, an awesome presentation and a good-looking monter means you can understand that Company of the Year has done a fantastic job. The jury is happy and proud to have named JA Company of the Year, MediScribe UF!
