Gothenburg Celebrates Sustainable Gastronomy Day with an event on Sustainable Food
The UN General Assembly has designated 18th June as Sustainable Gastronomy Day to highlight gastronomy as a cultural expression related to the world’s natural and cultural diversity. On this day, events focusing on sustainable food will be held worldwide, including in Gothenburg.
On 18th June, Gothenburg’s restaurants and producers will gather at Poppels City Brewery to celebrate Sustainable Gastronomy Day. The event will feature inspiring talks, with for example the oyster diver Lotta Klemming from Bohuslän, meets with circular specialists such as Sofia B Olsson from the restaurant Vrå, and flavourful workshops to celebrate gastronomic diversity and drive the development of healthier food systems.
