When we talk about private tourism, meetings and events in Gothenburg at Göteborg & Co we use the terms City of Tourism, City of Meetings and City of Events. These represent three segments which together make up destination Gothenburg. The way that these elements interact is critical for the success of Gothenburg as a whole. Events strengthen the brand and put our city on the map; meetings and congresses improve collaboration between the research sector, industry and society; and private tourism helps to make the city more attractive. Through innovation, a shared vision and closer cooperation between these three cities, we create synergies and added value that will lead to further growth. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Our task is to market and contribute to the development of Gothenburg as a city of tourism, meetings and events.
